Note: If you cannot edit host file then use this trick to edit host file which has Read-only property.

Method 3 : IDM Fake Serial Problem Solution Using Registry Editor

This is a very simple method to remove IDM has been registered with a fake serial number pop up message. Steps to be followed are:

1. First, open Run Dialog Box by pressing Windows Key+R.
2. Now type regedit and press OK.
